On this #WorldHumanitarianDay, #PowerOfPads is celebrating our wonderful partners in Kenya as they #ActForHumanity. They are #TheMateFoundation, #AgathaAmaniHouse and Simon Achieno. They all run pad projects in their local communities supporting women to gain sewing skills, make pads and deliver them to schoolgirls for free.
They do this because they are incredible and they care deeply about their fellow human beings, and it is often in difficult situations. Recent flooding and political unrest in Kenya alongside the everyday challenges of poverty and scarcity of food and clean water makes what they do even more remarkable.
We hugely appreciate their hard work to support local girls and women and help them get to school and learn new skills. Thank you!
