Power Of Pads (POP) joins forces with International Day of Education to empower young girls in Kenya through sustainable menstrual health solutions. By reducing period poverty girls and women are able to take their rightful place in the world, starting in the classroom. We support girls in Kenya with reusable period pads, and our initiative breaks down barriers to education and promotes sustainable menstrual hygiene management.
POP believes in the power of education to transform lives and menstrual hygiene is a critical factor affecting girls’ attendance and participation in schools. By acknowledging the importance of the International Day of Education, we aim to highlight these issues and provide sustainable solutions to empower girls in Kenya to pursue their dreams and achieve their full potential.
The POP initiative is working through partner organisations in Kenya, creating small projects and businesses making reusable period pads and distributing them to girls in schools. In addition to providing pads, the campaign includes educational sessions on menstrual health, promoting awareness, and empowering girls with the knowledge to manage their well-being confidently.
You are invited to join with POP and support the cause by making donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness on social media. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on the lives of these young girls. To get involved, please visit: https://www.powerofpads.com
