Sallie has recently returned from a 3 week visit to the clinic. She said that the new bore hole had made such a difference to the community, people were thrilled that they had a reliable source of safe water on their doorstep. She went on to say ‘that we take our supply of clean water for granted in the west but that is far from the case in this area of Kenya’. Friends of Buburi, along with their supporters have made a real difference to the lives of these people and they are so grateful. Collecting water daily takes up a huge amount of time and effort so having safe clean water closer to their homes is a real blessing.
